There are a couple of things that pretty much all of us have done over the past few years whilst in lockdown, and that is to either fill our home with plants, or get a pet. If like us at Plant Sit HQ, you are guilty of both, then you know that this can be problematic at times. Not all houseplants are safe for our pets, so to avoid any unnecessary hurt to our furbabies, take a look at our top 4 plants that you can bring into your home without worry.

Calathea Rattlesnake.

As pictured with Buzz the black cat, this Calathea Rattlesnake is both beautiful and harmless to your pets. They love a high humidity environment & would appreciate not being left too long to dry out. And the best news? Pretty much all of the Calathea family are pet friendly, so knock yourself out.

Areca Palm.

Do you want to create an impact in your space, whilst still keeping your pets safe? The Areca Palm is the perfect addition for you. They are happy in indirect sunlight & as long as you clean their leaves every now & then.

Chinese Money plant.

These symbols of good fortune are not only easy to care for, but also non-toxic to your pets. The Chinese Money Plant are really easy to care for, and are fantastic to propagate and give to your pet-loving friends!

Maidenhair Fern.

Got the puppy training sorted & looking for a little more of a challenge? The Maidenhair Fern is a beautiful fern that requires indirect light, high humidity & watering so it is not left to get too dry. A brilliant bathroom (and pet!) companion.
